Xiaomi Announces OLED Vision 55 TV for the Indian market

Xiaomi present released the Xiaomi OLED Vision 55 Television for the Indian market. This is the company's first OLED television to be launched in India.

The OLED Vision 55 features a 55- inch, 3840x2160 OLED panel. We were unfit to get information on the panel manufacturer from Xiaomi but it's likely the same LG WRGB panel that utmost companies use. It's a native 10- bit panel with a fixed 60Hz refresh rate and98.5 DCI-P3 coverage.

The Television supports Dolby Vision IQ, which automatically acclimate display brightness to match atmosphere lighting, along with HDR10, HDR10, and HLG. It also features IMAX Enhanced certificate, which checks for various audio and video quality aspects for consistency with IMAX Enhanced content.

The audio features an 8- driver 30W speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS X compass sound standards.

For connectivity you get 3x HDMI2.1 * ports, one of which supports eARC, 2x USB ports, Ethernet, composite in, visual out, and headphone jack. There is also double-band Wi-Fi802.11 ac and Bluetooth5.0 support.

Xiaomi puts a giant asterisk on the HDMI2.1 part because these are not HDMI2.1 ports but rather HDMI2.0. Still, since the HDMI Licensing Administrator has incredibly lax and short foolish conditions for being to be considered HDMI2.1, you can actually well add a couple of HDMI2.1 features to HDMI2.0 and officially label it HDMI2.1.

To that end, the TV does support ALLM or auto low latency mode, which will automatically put the TV into a low latency game mode when it detects a signal from a console. Having this quality alone is constantly enough to label an HDMI2.0 device as HDMI2.1. However, however, you should know that there's no variable refresh rate support and the panel is only 60Hz, If you are a gamer.

The Television is powered by a MediaTek 9617 SoC with a 4x Cortex-A73 CPU cores and Mali G52 MC1 GPU. It also features 3 GB of memory and 32 GB of storage.

finally, the OLED Vision 55 runs on Android Television 11. As usual, Xiaomi has its optional Patchwall UI, which you can use to access content from over 30 different providers, although you'll still have to install their apps. The Television also has assembled-in far- field microphones so you can use Google Assistant or interact with your smart home devices.

The Xiaomi OLED Vision 55 is priced at INR with an INR deduction for HDFC Bank credit card holders. It'll go on sale on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
